Human Banners on Beaches Spell RESIST!
On Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, me and a few thousand of my friends gathered at beaches in California and New Zealand to RESIST!
Yes RESIST! Which we spelled out with our bodies. With or without an exclamation point or an underline. In letters of either 50 feet or 100 feet in height.
For our event in Ventura, like in SF, we spelled RESIST — without an exclamation point or an underline because we only had 200 or so people and SF had 5,000 or so people.
Like SF, we in Ventura went to the ocean and made a line in the sand.
Unlike SF, we in Ventura also made a heart. Actually, as you can see, we made two hearts.

All of us left the beach cleaner than we found it.
And now the resistance is spreading! I’ve offered to help others create their own RESIST and a group in Florida has contacted me; they are planning their event for this coming Saturday piggybacking on another event already planned.
So stay tuned for more information about how to do your own message in the sand — or on the grass– a call to RESIST!
