en theos press: “Middle of the Night Poems From Daughter to Mother :: Mother to Son”
the stars fill the sky
whether we notice them or not
so much better for us

Here’s the complete poem.
After many years of talking about it, I am finally going to release a collection of my 3:15 Experiment Poetry.
No, it’s not the infamous Love and Terror at 3:15am manuscript that I’ve been working on since I started the experiment in 2001.
This 3:15 Experiment collection of poems Middle of the Night Poems From Daughter to Mother :: Mother to Son had its impetus from two recent events: my mom’s death the day before the 2010 3:15 Experiment commenced and my selection for a makeover and to speak at this year’s Women’s Conference at the Long Beach Convention Center next Monday night October 25, 2010.
Because the poems from summer 2010 didn’t fit into Love and Terror thematically, and because the Women’s Conference would connect me with many many women who would relate to and appreciate this collection, the last few weeks have been very busy with selecting, editing, organizing and proofreading the manuscript Middle of the Night Poems From Daughter to Mother :: Mother to Son which is being published by en theos press (Seattle) which also published between sleeps: poems from the 3:15 experiment 1993-2005 which Danika Dinsmore and I edited.
