Let It Snow! Happy Holidays 2016!
It’s December 1 which means:
- It’s officially holiday season so you start that advent calendar and eat the chocolate!
- It’s snowing on my blogs!
- It’s gonna snow at the beach in Ventura this weekend!
Yes, just as you can see it snowing here on Art Predator and Wine Predator
–and you can make it snow on your blog just by going to settings then general and scrolling down–
it really is going to snow here in coastal southern California town of Ventura this weekend at the Winter Holiday Street Fair and Winter Wine Walk. There’s live music, and Santa and more! Tickets will sell out soon for Saturday’s Winter Wine Walk but the Street Fair, music, snow, and holiday lighting is all FREE.
The free festivities in Ventura begin with First Friday tomorrow Dec. 2 when all of the galleries and many of the downtown art studios are open. The HUGE pine trees at the Ventura Mission will get lit, Santa will visit, and people can visit a Santa’s Village from 3-8pm. The tree lighting ceremony includes local choirs and dancers at 6pm leading up to the arrival of Santa at 6:45pm. When the trees are lit, snow will fall!
Saturday’s Street Fair begins at noon and Main Street in downtown is closed all day for the event. I’ll be at Latitudes Art Gallery helping Sue pour for Cantara Cellars. Latitudes will also be serving hot cocoa and cider and offering gallery specials, too. Latitudes is located on the corner of Oak and Main. Beside to walk down Oak to Santa Clara and Yoga Jones and see what Pineapple Helen is up to there with art and more.

Happy holidays from my family to yours! Let it snow!
