The Simpsons Go To Burning Man 2014

November 16, 2014

In tonight’s episode of The Simpsons,
when Lisa and Homer unzip their tent in Black Rock City, they each find something to love: “A World of Anarchic Free Expression” for Lisa and “Cars Shaped Like Cupcakes” for Homer.

What else will the Simpsons discover at Burning Man?
Will Lisa come play chess with Reed in the Dome of the Space Wanderer?
Will Bart crack jokes on stage of the Big TV–or light The Man early like Paul did in 2009?
Will Marge ride in Critical Tits or the Naked Bike Ride?
Will Homer be another middle aged overweight drunken spectating shirt-cocker– or will he be a participant, perhaps joining Halcyon to scoop ice cream in Pink Heart?
Will they be staying in Kidsville or over on K street or will they crash a party at First Camp and hang with Larry Harvey and Grover Norquist and Dennis Kucinich?

We actually have a good chance that it will be a reasonably depiction because folks from the Simpsons have been attending Burning Man for years. In fact, expect a cameo in tonight’s SimpsonsCU_day_400x400 with the voice, animated likeness & flaming tuba of aka @tubatron who has
(Photo and bio from @tubatron’s twitter profile).
You’ll have to tune in tonight OR wait until it “breaks the internet” sometime later…

In the meantime, this is always good for a laugh:
The big question in our household? Who do we know who still gets TV and who will let us come watch? Hmmn I can bring wine…
