Springsteen & Morello: Joad Video from Anaheim

April 8, 2008

more about the show later…but here’s the video of one of the highlights!

ok so it doesn’t have the amazing guitar work there toward the end–but you get a nice taste, don’t you? the videographer said on you tube that the camera nozis caught him filming; lucky for all of us he got this much and we’ll see what else surfaces on the net, eh?

btw, were you there? what’d you think? post your comments below! let the Big Monkey hear from you!

I was there and it was amazing. My son, who’s twelve, was feeling ill and we were in the lobby when I heard Bruce announce TM as a guest. I coaxed him back out onto the floor–I told him the Guitar Hero guy was going to play–and I’m glad I did. It was an incredible performance. My son is disappointed he didn’t feel better for the show but he’s been watching the video on YouTube a bunch of times today. We’re hoping it pops up as a high quality vid on the Springsteen website or some other place. What a great treatment for a powerful song.

We can’t wait to bring our son to his first Bruce show! (he’s also a big Dylan fan as well as Steve Van Zandt–that would be the Steve of the Banana Stong Band–our son is 4!)

Yes, we’re watching for a hi-quality vid too! Let us know if you see one!
