Keep Green Investment in the Budget Package

http://www.vccool.org/newsletter/29_feb_09/green_obama.jpgThe largest national budget in history just passed in the House. Among other things, it contains over $100 billion dollars of “Green Investments.” Some organizations are concerned that business as usual will be the flavor of the day in the Senate – and that clean energy and conservation funding will be stripped out of the package.

Here are links to some of these voices. Get involved in this critical national dialog.

Hey AP! All your posts look funky in my browser (Firefox). Don’t know if anyone else has commented on this? There are urls mixed in with the top of the text.

Yes, with massive green energy and infrastructure development also means huge sums being spent on the products and services of green companies. Stocks of these companies could benefit significantly!

For anyone interested in green and socially responsible investing, I have one of the most popular sites on the web on the subject. It also covers the latest related global news and research too. It’s at http://investingforthesoul.com/

    Best wishes, Ron Robins

Danika, thanks for the heads up! Everything looks good on my end but if it’s ever too odd, I appreciate knowing! Sometimes when info from another site is integrated, it can go funky until I get it all fixed.

Ron, thanks for stopping by my site. I honestly believe that this period offers HUGE opportunities for us to change the way we live and do business. Sometimes change an be painful and lots of talented people are losing their jobs. These are the people who will build the new world!
