ok KCRW is giving away more MIA tix for Friday night–wish me luck!! i have my cell phone & home phone ready!! the big monkey doesn’t get MIA but the little one does. too bad the wiltern is 21 and over–first person to respond to this post gets to go with me if i win tix!
wait–the wiltern? the wiltern? MIA is all about dancing and WILD–politics and everything all wrapped up tight so tight you gotta dance, you gotta move cuz it hurts too much. the wiltern is not a dance type venue. we saw bob dylan there, that was good (who dances to bob dylan?? i mean, like really MOVE!) , and someone else i remember being frustrated there was NO ROOM to MOVE and i gotta move. if i’m gonna drive all the way from ventucky, i gotta dance.
no word on the tix yet. let you know. gotta be ready to dance on table tops and across the universe. yep, that’s the way of the art predator.
