it’s a midwife for bath faucets & fixtures
my tub the maternity ward
my obsession has birthed
2 chrome tub spouts & 1 chrome shower head from pegasus from the last shower remodel (home despot, bought 2 years ago)
1 chrome old fashioned styled shower set circa 1922 (spout, valve, trim, head) from american standard, trim & valves (reg over $200, on clearance for $85 at the despot)
1 chrome traditional”teapot” style from delta, shower trim & valves (reg about $200, clearance $125 at the despot) & 1 4″ faucet set (reg about $120, clearance $72, at the despot)
1 stainless steel classic style from delta, shower trim & valves (reg $205, clearance $100 at lowes)
1 delta universal valve & shower head (no trim) (convinced the guy to sell it for $20)
various aged pewter & chrome accessories
2 old american standard circa 1945 handles still in production still installed ($100 plus to replace)
yep. don’t do the math.
some of them got to go back.
should i use the valve & go aged pewter? (steve’s hardware & plumbing says another $400) stainless steel? chrome teapots or american standard?
