Fall for Poetry
“People know when you’re speaking from el Corazon,” Sandra Cisneros writes. “You have that pain. Take that pain and do something with it. That’s very powerful.”
Poetry often comes from personal pain, and usually from the human experience, but not always.
Today I’m subbing a poetry class at Ventura College, and here’s a bit of what I plan to do.
