Burning Man Shelter: Watch a 2017 Dust Storm Obscure BRC’s 88NV

March 29, 2018

So yesterday some of you got lucky and got tickets to Burning Man before they sold out almost immediately and you’re excitedly making plans to head out to the Black Rock Desert, Nevada over Labor Day weekend

for the “I, Robot” the theme for 2018.

And some of you didn’t get lucky and get tickets, and so you’re going to register for STEP and the OMG sale, and get the word out, and participate in theme camps in hopes of a ticket coming your way.

And maybe some of you will settle with a trip to the Smithsonian in Washington DC to check out the Burning Man exhibit. So cool! I wish I was there now — the opening is Thursday night and a bunch of my friends are there so I hope to do another post on it soon!

If you really want to go to Burning Man, and if you’re ready to serve, doors will open, and you will find your self there in Black Rock City.

If you’ve been to Burning Man before, you know that shelter from the sun, the heat, the wind, and the dust is key. If you doubt me, watch the video above.

When I saw this video, my first thought was how this shelter would be brilliant for Burning Man, and just right for one or two people if it could be secured to the playa!
