Fashion Week Ventura 2010: Saints & Cyclists & The Seven Deadly Sins Feb. 6
Guess who’s going to be riding her bikergo down the runway as part of this year’s Fashion Week extravaganza???
You guessed it–Art Predator and a few members of the San Buenaventura ArtRiders Bicycle and Social Club will be riding down their bikes down the catwalk all dolled and duded up as part of the Saints and Angels and the Seven Deadly Sins Fashion & Variety Show Saturday February 6 in the Lodge on the corner of Ash and Main from 6-10pm. Tickets are $15 or $25 for VIP.
Join us that afternoon as we ride around town publicizing the show! Then we’ll ride over soon after the doors open at 6pm to enjoy the pre-show silent auction and socializing. The Fashion & Variety show starts at 8pm and runs until 10pm.
Some of us plan to ride over to join other cast members and friends at the Thursday Feb. 4 Kick-Off Party with live music at Candlelight. That’s the bar on Santa Clara at Figueroa with the huge beds on the back open deck and the giant, splashing waterfall.
Sandwiched between the two Fashion Week events is the San Buenaventura ArtRiders Bicycle and Social Club’s first Tweed Ride for all the dapper lads and lasses. The Tweed Ride meets at 5:30pm on the Ventura Beach Promenade near the bars at Aloha and C Street and the Artists Union Gallery and rides at 6pm. We’ll visit galleries on the Westside including Bell Arts to see Moses Mora’s show there and we’ll end up on Laurel for the afterparty with live music and beer from Anacapa.
