Hosted by Zane Lamprey

As host of the cult sensation “Three Sheets”, comedian Zane is constantly being told he has the best job in the world. That job is to travel around the world… and drink. Now in its fourth season, Zane has been imbibed in over 50 countries, including: Taiwan, Russia, Tanzania, New Zealand, and Tahiti. As if that wasn’t enough, Zane is also the host of “Have Fork, Will Travel” on the Food Network, where he travels around the world and, yes, eats.

Playboy, May 2008: “Three Sheets just may be the best travel show ever.”

Music by Hunter Lea

Hunter Lea of Mono in VCF will be spinning live at the Mutineer Magazine National Launch Party. Mono in VCF’s debut record was released in summer of 2008 and co-produced by Lea and Martin Feveyear, who’s previous projects include R.E.M. and Queens of the Stone Age. Lea’s genre-hopping taste will provide a soundtrack to the evening that features obscure 60s & 70s grooves to create a futuristic, space-age atmosphere as the perfect compliment to an evening of tasting.

National Launch Party Vendor Spotlight: Kasteel Rouge

First up, J Vineyards. We’re pumped to have J pouring their ridiculously awesome wines. I had the pleasure of visiting the J Vineyards winery with the Beer Mutineer during the 2nd “Mutineer on Tour”, and was very impressed with their operation.

The sparkling wines are second to none (word on the street is that they’re pouring their Rose at the Launch Party, I’m not 100% on that though), and the Pear Liqueur is liquid sex, and one of my favorite after dinner beverages. The Pear Liqueur also pairs magnificently with late night conversation, and I find my guests often have a taste for the liqueur as well.

For more on J Vineyards, check out this post from December about our stop off at the J Vineyards winery in Healdsburg.

You can typically see which WordPress template is being used by looking along the bottom of the page. Iin fact, that’s how I discovered this one myself–I saw a blog I liked and figured out what they were using and adapted it to my needs. In this case, I am using Vigilance by Jestro with a custom header & some custom CSS color along the two sides. I am using the same template for http://winepredator.wordpress.com also so you can see how it’s the same yet different.
