The music I know right now that I am going for is in bold and italics. If you haven’t been before, it is amazing–so much music to be exposed to in such a short amount of time. The list above is just off the top of my head–who do I want o go see? But as the festival gets closer and KCRW plays the bands on teh line-up, I will have my dancecard mre than full all three days. And of course if we are still there Sunday night, we will go see Roger Waters (but hey, already saw him years ago–and do they really have to tag him with “Dark Side of the Moon”?)

There’s lots of info on their website but:

Is where to stay at Coachella your question? In 2002 (when we won weekend tix on Gary Kalamar’s KCRW show) and in 2003 (it was our honeymoon!), we stayed in Desert Hot Springs at the Skyliner which unfortunately is now out of business, so not sure where we’ll stay this time since we will likely have the small boy with us. Most likely it will be somewhere in Desert Hot Springs–there’s nothing like taking the buzz out of your feet by soaking in hot mineral water.

Is kids at Coachella your question? It’s ours too; I emailed them a query about a kids area–check back here for a post when I hear from them!

Is food your question? I had the best falafel of my life there in 2003. The food’s not cheap but everything we had was surprisingly good.

always on the prowl for that which engages the whole soul–whether it be music, hot springs, or ski slopes–i’m your art predator

That looks like quite an event. So that’s how you’re the art predator! I love your moniker, by the way. Thanks for your comments on my poem. It meant so much to me to be a means of bridging understanding. It actually made me quite warm and fuzzy inside.
